Public charging stations
With LAN1, you can also easily make your charging stations accessible to spontaneous customers in a public charging network. E-vehicle users can access your e-pillar without prior notification or registration. This also benefits you because our model meets all the requirements to receive subsidies for the expansion of the public charging infrastructure.
You set the tariffs for spontaneous users of your e-chargers. It doesn’t matter whether you want to bill based on time or consumption or offer flat rates – anything is possible. You have full creative freedom thanks to flexible options.
Because LAN1 handles the entire charging and payment process directly with users, there is no additional work for you.
Most funding programmes for the development of charging infrastructure in Germany require public access to the charging station in order to receive the subsidy.
Spontaneous e-charging customers get access without needing to enter into a contract – So they can easily enjoy user-friendly operation and authorisation.
Section 4 of the German Charging Point Ordinance (LSV) requires operators of publicly accessible charging points to allow users selective charging, also known as “ad hoc charging”. This is meant to ensure easy and barrier-free access to public charging stations.
LAN1’s solution enables web-based billing and meets all the legal requirements.
Billing of parking and charging processes takes place in accordance with calibration law and is always transparent. The bill can also be sent by email if desired.
