WLAN for ports
LAN1 has already provided more than 34 harbours all across Germany and the Baltic Sea with WLAN and the central LAN1 account settlement system. Needless to say, we have considered possible special requirements for a smooth process especially in regard to WLAN outside facilities.
The net of LAN1 is available to sailors already from the Danish Baltic Sea to the Polish border.
All participating harbours reported on the very positive responses of their guests. WLAN access stands for “special guest moorings” and is a criterion for the awarding of five stars by Deutscher Tourismusverband e.V and the BWVS e.V.
LAN1 Starter Kit
We will provide you with all the basics for free. DSL access at your harbour is required – and surfing the internet wirelessly around the harbour master’s office (approx. 50 m) is possible in an instant.
You decide on the further upgrading of your network, for example at more distant jetties. We will provide you with advice, recommend appropriate components and offer you the complete installation under very favourable conditions, if you wish. And you will make money out of every sold access card.
